YOU MUST START TO ‘IMAGINE’ IT BEFORE YOU SEE IT

THE SEED

“Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you can number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” Genesis 15:5 NKJV

When the Lord showed Abraham the stars in the sky and encouraged him to connect his imagination to the promise of God, Abraham started to believe. Then things started happening. For your faith to be fully effective, you must engage your imagination. You must begin to ‘see’ God’s promises around you. Your mind can not be filled with one thought and your life produces an opposite result. For instance, If you have an examination or test to prepare for. You cannot permit the thought of being unsuccessful in that test to occupy any part of your mind. Imagination and Expectation are our greatest superpowers as human beings. They are two things animals do not have. If this is so, we must learn to use them to our advantage. God was teaching Abraham to put his Imagination and Expectation to work for him. Most people use their power of Imagination and Expectation to work against their progress in life. Let us not be like that. Let us learn the lesson, God was teaching Abraham; let your mind be filled with the vision of what God promised to give you. Do not ask yourself, ‘What if this does not work?’ Ask yourself instead, ‘How glorious will this be when it works?’ ‘How will I testify to the goodness of God when I have my miracle?’ See yourself rejoicing in the fulfillment of God’s promise to your life. Start ‘seeing’ it, before it manifests. That is what real faith is all about.

BIBLE READING: Genesis 15:1-6

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I lift my eyes from my current circumstances. And I choose to believe in the reality of Your promises now, regardless of what is around me, in Jesus name. Amen.
