Fulfiling Your Assignment

THE SEED
I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day; the night is cometh when no one can work. John 9:4 (KJV).

Every project we embark on has something to accomplish. Every student has the vision to graduate and become useful to the society. Every investment is for a purpose. In the same vein, the creation of every man on earth has a purpose. The world has filled our mindset with the fact that all we have come on earth to do is to become a graduate, make money, settle down and live a cool life. This is good; however, our existence is more than that. Our first assignment on earth is to live for Christ. This is by being his ambassadors everywhere we go. However, our mind has been programmed to do the opposite. We most times placed material things over God. Some children of God don’t mind engaging in some unspeakable acts that would make them lose their dignity and integrity in as much as it would fetch them money. Jesus says seek ye first the Kingdom of God and every other things shall be added. Instead of placing material possessions over God, let us put Christ first by living for him because that is what will make us true Christians.
