“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” – Psalm 23:1 (NKJV)
This well-loved verse carries deep truth. To say “The Lord is my shepherd” is to
acknowledge that He guides, protects, and provides. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd; they depend on him for food, direction, and safety. When God is your shepherd, you can rest from fear of lack or danger. His leadership brings peace. His provision is sure. His presence drives away fear. To enjoy the fullness of this blessing, we must submit to His leading daily—not just when it’s convenient.
