“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.” – Romans 6:12 (KJV)
Sin opened the door to sickness, pain, and death. But in Christ, we have authority over these effects of the fall. Paul’s words—“let not”—show that the believer has a responsibility to resist anything that seeks to reign over their body. As children of God, we must boldly stand on the Word, resist the devil, and proclaim our healing. Faith-filled declarations activate the power of God and build a protective shield over every area of our lives. Refusing sickness is not denial; it is standing on divine authority in Christ.
BIBLE READINGS: Isaiah 53:4–7 (KJV)
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I reject sickness and every power of sin over my body. Let Your healing virtue flow through me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
