THE PILLAR OF TRUST
THE SEED
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV
God is our sure foundation—unchanging, dependable, and strong. Unlike man who can fail, God remains steadfast and trustworthy. He holds our lives together like a pillar holds a structure, giving support and stability in life’s storms. People may change, disappoint, or withdraw, but God never fails. “For I am the Lord, I do not change” (Malachi 3:6). His wisdom sees the end from the beginning, making Him the safest place to rest our hearts. Trusting in God means surrendering fully, not leaning on limited human understanding. He guides, protects, and sustains all who lean on Him completely. What area of your life have you been leaning on your own understanding instead of God’s?
BIBLE READINGS: Jeremiah 17:5–8
PRAYER: Lord, You are my pillar of trust. Empower me to lean on You completely and not on my own strength. Amen.
