LIVE READY
THE SEED
“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” — Matthew 24:44 KJV
Readiness is more than end-time awareness; it’s a daily posture of faithful obedience. It begins with new birth—being born again (John 3:3)—and continues with confessing Christ as Lord and believing in His resurrection (Romans 10:9). From there, readiness looks like holiness, watchfulness, prayer, and fruitful service. Jesus warned against spiritual drowsiness and called His followers to be awake, alert, and faithful in what He entrusts to them. Readiness means walking in the Spirit, bearing fruit, loving others, and serving God—both when it’s convenient and when it’s costly. Live each day as if today might be the day. That mindset doesn’t produce fear; it produces focus—on Christ’s will, Christ’s work, and Christ’s reward. If Jesus returned today, what would you want found changed, started, or surrendered?
