STANDING STRONG AGAINST DIVISION

STANDING STRONG AGAINST DIVISION

THE SEED

“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”  Romans 16:20 NIV

Division is one of the enemy’s oldest tools against the church. In Romans 16, Paul warns believers to watch out for those who cause division and obstacles contrary to sound doctrine. He instructs the church to remain vigilant, rooted in the gospel, and discerning against deceptive teachings and smooth words that oppose Christ. True unity comes from standing firm in truth and walking in obedience. Paul’s counsel was clear: mark divisive people and avoid being influenced by them. God promises to bring peace and crush the enemy under our feet, but believers must play their part by remaining wise to what is good and innocent of evil. Unity doesn’t happen by chance; it requires spiritual alertness, love, and courage. Even when division tries to creep into the church or family, staying anchored in Scripture and modeling unity can silence deception. God fights for His people when they stand on His truth together. God’s peace and victory prevail when His people stand firm in unity.
