THE HUMANITY OF JESUS
THE SEED
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us… full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He took on real humanity our weakness, weariness, and tears yet without sin. Because He became like us, He sympathises with our struggles and represents us perfectly before the Father. His incarnation isn’t a doctrine to admire from afar; it is the nearness of God entering our pain to redeem it. The Lord’s compassion moves Him toward the “untouchable.” When He touches the leper, lifts the fallen, and feeds the hungry, we see the heart of God on display. As His body on earth, we are called to extend that same tangible love eyes that see need, hands that heal, words that restore dignity. Christ’s humanity assures us He understands; His deity assures us He is able. In His name, we become carriers of grace and truth to a hurting world. Because Jesus drew near to us, we can draw near to others with His compassion.
