MAINTAIN A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
THE SEED
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” 3 John 2 NIV
“Health is wealth,” and Scripture agrees: God cares about both your soul and your body. Good health isn’t built on wishful confessions while keeping harmful habits it grows from wise, God-honouring choices. Your body is a stewardship from the Lord; nourish it well, rest sufficiently, and guard it from what weakens life and purpose. Moses finished strong at 120 his eyes undimmed and vigour intact because God sustained him (Deut. 34:7). While outcomes are in God’s hands, we honour Him by embracing wisdom: wholesome food in right portions, movement and exercise, clean water, restorative sleep, and rhythms of work and sabbath. These are not merely “wellness tips”; they’re practical obedience that helps you serve God effectively. As you age, grace can make the journey peaceful, not painful; purposeful, not merely prolonged. Build habits today that support a long obedience in the same direction. Your daily choices can become acts of worship that keep you fit for God’s assignments.
