ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DWELL IN YOU

ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DWELL IN YOU

THE SEED

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV

The Holy Spirit is not a visitor but a permanent resident in the lives of believers. In the Old Testament, the Spirit came temporarily to empower people. But through Christ, we have received the indwelling presence of the Spirit  our Helper, Comforter, and Guide. His presence empowers us to live victoriously. When we allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in us, He produces fruit  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control. He gives wisdom, convicts us of truth, strengthens us in weakness, and guides our decisions daily. A life led by the Spirit is a life of power and peace. We are God’s temple. To host His Spirit well, we must yield daily, obey His Word, and nurture intimacy through prayer and worship. A yielded heart creates room for the Holy Spirit to transform everything.
