BEING A SWEET SAVOUR OF CHRIST
THE SEED
“For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish.” 2 Corinthians 2:15 KJV
As followers of Jesus, our lives are meant to reflect His love and character to the world. Just as Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was a sweet-smelling offering to God, our daily walk should be a pleasing fragrance to Him. A life lived in love, kindness, and obedience testifies of His goodness to both believers and unbelievers. When we walk in the fruits of the Spirit love, peace, joy, patience, gentleness, and self-control we carry the fragrance of Christ into homes, workplaces, and communities. This fragrance has power: it draws people to Jesus and glorifies God. God wants us to live in such a way that heaven is pleased and the world encounters Jesus through us. A life that reflects Christ becomes a living fragrance that pleases God.

PRAYER: Lord, let my life always be a sweet fragrance unto You, drawing others to Christ. Amen.
