DEAR MOTHER
THE SEED
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” —Proverbs 31:28 KJV
Mothers carry a divine assignment to nurture, train, and guide their children in the way of the Lord. When this responsibility is neglected, society feels the impact. Many social ills trace back to broken homes and untrained children. God’s Word instructs mothers to teach and discipline their children early so they will not depart from godly paths when grown. Being a mother is more than providing food or clothing; it’s about spiritual formation. Proverbs 13:24 reminds us of loving discipline, and Proverbs 10:1 shows the joy or sorrow a child can bring. Mothers must create time to listen, love, and guide their children with God’s Word. A mother’s influence shapes future generations.
Motherhood is sacred, and those who embrace it God’s way will reap peace, joy, and honour in their old age. Raising children in God’s way builds strong homes and a safer world.

PRAYER: Lord, help all mothers to rise to their responsibilities and guide their children according to Your Word. Amen.
