STAND FIRM AGAINST WRONGDOING
THE SEED
“My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.” Proverbs 1:10 (NKJV)
Temptation to compromise often comes in subtle ways, especially when our needs or expectations are high. When my husband was offered a new job years ago, he was pressured to give false testimony against a colleague. Refusing to compromise cost him the job but God intervened a week later, opening a better door that led to great blessings. As believers, we must understand that obeying God may cost us something in the short term, but it guarantees long-term peace and divine favour. Choosing right over wrong is not weakness but strength anchored in faith. When the pressure to do wrong arises, remember that God’s integrity is worth more than any temporary benefit. Those who stand for truth will always see His hand at work.
Reflection: Doing right may cost you something, but doing wrong will cost you more.
