EMBRACE A BALANCED LIFE

EMBRACE A BALANCED LIFE

THE SEED

“Only someone too stupid to find his way home would wear himself out with work.” — Ecclesiastes 10:15 (GNT)

God designed work and rest to coexist in perfect harmony. After creating the world, even the Almighty rested on the seventh day. If God valued rest, how much more should we, with our limited strength, honour the rhythm of work and rest.

Overworking without rest drains the body, clouds the mind, and weakens spiritual vitality. A life without balance can make us ineffective both in service and in our personal walk with God. True strength is found in learning when to work and when to pause. Embracing balance glorifies God. A rested body, renewed mind, and refreshed spirit are powerful instruments in His hands.

Reflection: Rest is not a weakness—it’s divine wisdom.

BIBLE READING: Genesis 2:1–3

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the gift of rest. Help me to embrace balance in life so I can serve You effectively and fulfil my purpose. Amen.
