PATIENCE THAT BIRTHS VICTORY
THE SEED
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him…” — Psalm 37:7a (NIV)
Patience is a powerful weapon in the hands of those who desire lasting victory. David, anointed as king at a young age, had every opportunity to overthrow Saul. Yet he chose not to act in haste but to trust God’s timing. Though hunted and forced into hiding, he waited for God to establish him. When David finally sat on the throne, it was not through manipulation or force but by divine appointment. His patience produced a throne built on righteousness and divine favour.
Waiting patiently on God is never a waste of time. It is a divine posture that allows Him to perfect His plans and give victory that endures.
Reflection: Patience may look like delay but it is not denial.
