PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD
THE SEED
“A voice cries out, ‘Prepare in the wilderness a road for the Lord! Clear the way in the desert for our God!’” — Isaiah 40:3 (GNT)
The Christian life is a continual journey of preparation to meet the Lord, whether through death or rapture. Since neither can be predicted, we must remain spiritually ready at all times. Preparation also means making room in our hearts for personal encounters with God. When we clear the wilderness of sin, unbelief, and distractions, His presence flows freely and transforms our lives. God will not pass through a cluttered heart. But when the way is clear, He comes in power, bringing revival, refreshing, and transformation.
Reflection: A prepared heart attracts God’s presence.
