IN TIME, HE WILL DO IT

IN TIME, HE WILL DO IT

THE SEED

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

God’s promises are anchored in His character. He does not speak to impress; He speaks to accomplish. Promises train our hearts to obey, to hope, and to trust when the path is unclear. They also tutor us in patience—because timing belongs to God as much as outcome does. Joseph’s story shows this beautifully. Betrayed and sold, falsely accused and imprisoned, he seemed farthest from his dream—yet he was never far from God. In God’s time, the pit gave way to the palace, the prisoner became a provider, and what others meant for evil, God turned for good. When the promise feels delayed, remember that delay is not denial. Keep trusting, praying, and aligning your heart with His will. The God who promised is faithful—and His timing is perfect.

Reflection: God’s promises don’t expire; they mature.

BIBLE READING: 2 Peter 3:8–10

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to wait well. Help me trust Your timing until Your promise speaks in full. Amen.
