KEEP YOUR VOWS
THE SEED
“You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows.” — Job 22:27 (NIV)
God is faithful to hear our prayers; He also calls us to be faithful to our promises. A vow is not a casual line it is a sacred commitment before the Lord. Scripture counsels us to be slow to vow and quick to fulfil, for God takes our words seriously. Revisit the promises you made in crisis, at the start of a year, or during fasting: to give, forgive, serve, or change. Write them down, pray over them, and follow through. Let vows be Spirit-led, not impulsive; worship, not bargaining. As we honour our words, God establishes our steps and shines light on our path. Integrity in promises invites His favour.
Reflection: Faithfulness to your word is worship God remembers.
BIBLE READING: Ecclesiastes 5:1–7
PRAYER: Father, forgive my delays and strengthen my resolve. Help me honour the vows I’ve made before You with integrity and joy. Amen.
