PLEASING GOD ABOVE ALL

PLEASING GOD ABOVE ALL

THE SEED

“How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?” — John 5:44

It is good to receive encouragement from others, but it becomes dangerous when our identity and confidence depend on people’s approval. Many believers fall into the trap of people-pleasing, measuring their worth by how others rate their service, words, or performance. God’s approval is what matters most. When we live to please Him, we walk in freedom, not manipulation. When we seek His “Well done,” we remain steady even when others misunderstand or oppose us. Beloved, let your deepest desire be to receive honour from God not from men. His commendation carries eternal weight.

Reflection: People’s applause fades, but God’s approval endures.

BIBLE READING: John 5:39–44

PRAYER: Father, help me to live for Your approval alone and not depend on the opinions of others. Amen.
