GOD’S APPROVAL ABOVE ALL

GOD’S APPROVAL ABOVE ALL

THE SEED

“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” — Galatians 1:10

To walk fully with God, we must be wary of the approval of the world. Many Pharisees believed in Jesus but were silenced by fear of what others would say (John 12:42–43). The fear of man is a snare that weakens obedience. True obedience may make you unpopular. It may require standing for truth when others remain silent. But the fruit of obedience far outweighs the comfort of human approval. Choose to value God’s voice above people’s vain opinions.

Reflection: The fear of man must die for obedience to God to thrive.
