MOVED BY COMPASSION
THE SEED
“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.” — Matthew 14: 14
The feeding of the five thousand men reveals the depth of Jesus’ compassion. Though He had preached, healed, and walked long distances, He still saw the people’s needs and met them abundantly. This same compassion is what the world longs to see today. People are drawn to Jesus not just by words but by love in action. As followers of Christ, we are called to extend His compassion to the hurting and needy. Compassion is not just emotion—it is action. It reflects the heart of God to a broken world.
Reflection: A heart that loves like Jesus will act with compassion.
BIBLE READING: Matthew 14:13-21
PRAYER: Lord, fill my heart with compassion to care for others as You do. Amen.
