DON’T ABIDE ALONE 2 – DIE TO THE WORLD
THE SEED
MAY 18 WED 2022
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it dies, it bringeth forth much fruit. (Verse 24)” John. 12: 23 – 26
We also have to be ready to ‘die’ to the approval and censure of others. If you have to receive the approval of the world in order to feel good about yourself, it will be impossible for you to walk in obedience to God. (See the Pharisees in verses 42 to 43 of John 12).
What people think about you, is not more important than what God expects you to do. Evil thrives in this world when good people do nothing. These men were more concerned with the criticism of their fellow Pharisees than standing up for the truth.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father I refuse to let what people will think of me be more important than obeying You. Help me walk in full obedience, in Jesus name Amen
