THE SEED
“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I shall not be shaken. My salvation and my honour depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge.” Psalms 62:5-7 (NIVUK).
Situations and happenings around us sometimes may not be encouraging. There might not be much news in the media to cheer up one’s soul. It may seem as if ones’ prayers have not been answered. To some people, they might say there is no point praying again, but wait a minute, do not lose hope, and do not give in to the stress and pressure of this world that wants to damage your faith and hope in God.
Do not give a listening ear to the devil and his co-workers who want you to doubt the work of hope and grace bought with the blood of Jesus Christ.
Our hope is not in this world alone, but it also extends till eternity because of the great works of salvation that were exhibited on the cross of Calvary.
Nothing in this world is dependable, be it living and non-living. They are subject to change as many times as possible. However, God is the only sure person that is dependable and reliable. You can take His words for it and place your hope on Him.
PRAYERS
