The Ways Of God And The Acts Of God!

THE WAYS OF GOD AND THE ACTS OF GOD!
THE SEED
“He revealed His character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel” Psalm 103:7
Knowing of the ways of the Lord, His character, the way He does things, is different from
knowing His acts and wonders and the miracles that He does. The bible taught us that Moses
spent time with the Lord, receiving from him directly and learning about whom God really is,
what pleases Him, what arouses His anger and the ways He moves. Moses understood how to appease the Lord when He became angry.
In comparison, the children of Israel could only tell of the moves and wonders of God,
His many miracles. They had no in-depth knowledge about who God really is, they spent their
time outside of the tent and did not put to mind the ways and manners of God. Many
Christians are like the children of Israel today. They have no knowledge of who God really is but are so familiar with His acts. They can tell of the different miracles that God has performed in their lives and in the lives of others in the church but are not able to tell of the revelations they have received from spending quality time with Him. Without spending time with the Lord, you cannot get the revelation of who God really is and this will limit your Christian growth and expose you to the danger of falling away. You need to know the ways of God and not just His acts.
PRAYER
Father, teach my spirit to know You as I spend time with You daily in Jesus name.
