Don’t Be Hasty To Give Comments

DON’T BE HASTY TO GIVE COMMENTS
THE SEED
“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye
ought to answer every man.” Colossians 4:6
We are in the era of information freedom and as such there are so many information
mediums available today than ever in the history of life. This development has and is helping a lot of people to advance while it is also destroying a lot of homes and individuals. It is easier now to send information around, but unfortunately much of such information ends up causing more confusion and destruction to people’s lives. As a child of God, you must be disciplined with social media.
Don’t expose yourself or your family carelessly on social media or try to settle a misunderstanding therein. Choose what to view and listen to, don’t make careless comments
on other people’s posts. Abstaining from negativity on social media will help you live a more
peaceful and focused life. Intelligent people spend less time on social media, how much more
the spiritually intelligent. In John chapter 8, some people brought a woman to Jesus with a
secret agenda. Jesus who understood, did not make comments in a hurry. Rather He took his
time to come up with the answer that put them to flight. Don’t be in haste to comment, and if you must, let it be guided by God’s words; apply the wisdom of God in all you do and speak.
PRAYER
Father Lord, let my words be seasoned with salt and grace. Amen.
