The Heavenly Family

THE SEED
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” 1 Peter 2:9

To be a member of the Heavenly Family is a choice. It is an exercise of your free will. You are adopted into God’s family when we believe and share that belief. The moment you become born again, you are born into a heavenly family. If you do well and carry out your responsibilities and duties, the rewards are greater than you can imagine and then there is eternal life with our loving Father. One day each member will hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of your Lord.” I want to encourage you, if you are a member of the heavenly family, to keep on; keep doing well. Don’t get tired. At the right time you will reap a
great reward both in this life and in the life to come. If you aren’t a member, now is the time to join. You can be adopted today. You just have to believe and receive Jesus as your Saviour. You have to believe that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6) and you have to be willing to share your faith. The heavenly family has one purpose and that purpose is to please God. The eternal life given to a believer in Christ Jesus is to live for Christ whilst on this earth. Leading people to Christ is the believer’s number one purpose. Dearly beloved, only with Christ can we experience the heavenly family with Christ.

PRAYER
Father make me one of the members of the heavenly family, in Jesus name Amen
