Spiritual Fruits

THE SEED
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:22

Living things were made by Elohim to bear fruit that would honour Him and benefit all of His other creations. Jesus Christ cursed the fig tree because it failed to honour Him by yielding fruits that would have satisfied His need. Similar to this, the Holy Spirit expects a born-again Christian to display the traits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance in order to honour Him and benefit humanity. People glorify and testify to the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ when they have tasted the fruit of the Holy Spirit carried by a child of God. The child of God who displays this fruit is elevated and granted the grace to rise to greater heights. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is a part of every Christian; we must feed it to make it thrive. We cannot create the fruit, which are good qualities and gifts, and we surely cannot observe without exhibiting them.

PRAYER
O Lord, help me to feed the fruit of the Holy Spirit always, raise me above any misdeeds that shall kill it. Amen.
