Be Separated Unto Christ

THE SEED
“For thou art, a Holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto Himself, above all the Nations that are upon the earth.” Deuteronomy 14:2

Arising from the on-toward influence of online and internet gist, this era and generation of indiscipline keep recording a downward trend in decorum. Society is now bedeviled with social vices like corruption, cultism, assassination, immorality, examination malpractices, kidnapping, nudity, corruption, and pornography to mention a few. As Christians, we are to be separated from all that is displeasing or contrary to the will of God. By this, it means we are to be far from evil communications and make ourselves available for His service to the glory of His name alone.
Young Samuel lived an exemplary life when he could have chosen a reckless lifestyle like Hophni and Phinehas, Eli’s children. Do not for the sake of the general maxim, “if you cannot beat them, you join them”, indulge in evil. Choose to stand out for Him in your generation. Be ye holy as He is holy that He may fulfill His agenda for your life. Remain separate unto Christ till the end and let your life glorify your Father in heaven.

PRAYER
Oh Lord God, give me the grace to stand out where evils abound in Jesus’ name.
