THE SEED
“Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.” John 2:10
Jesus was at the wedding in Cana. When the wine finished, His mother called on Him to do something. The divine encounter Mary had before she conceived Jesus made her trust in the power that God had given Jesus. Therefore, she knew her son could do something because of His divine power, and she requested his help. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble- that is our God. Imagine the shame on the groom and his family if there was no more wine, Jesus’ presence at that party changed everything. We can also experience such blessings and breakthrough if we give Him a prominent position and recognition in our lives. Do not refuse whenever He calls and whatever He says, don’t doubt, but confidently say, yes Lord. He will give you joy and will not let you be ashamed.
PRAYER
Blessed Father, let Your presence change things when challenges seem uncontrollable for me.
