THE SEED
“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10
As the usual saying goes, whoever does good, will receive goodness and vice versa. There was a man of God that usually pass by a woman’s house, she and her husband were always nice to him. It got to a stage that the woman pleaded with her husband to let them make a room for the man because she perceived he was a man of God. The husband agreed and whenever the man of God comes around, he has a comfortable room to himself. The man was surprised by her hospitality. Despite her wealth and riches, she was not swollen-headed or arrogant, but respectful, calm, nice and accommodating. He started to wonder what he could do for the woman to repay her for all her good attitudes towards him. She was asked if she needed anything but she said she has everything she wanted. However, the servant to the man of God noticed that they have never met a child there since they have been coming there. The Man of God then prophesied that by the time he comes again in a year’s time she would have a baby boy. Though she doubted him but God made it to come to pass. So, wherever we go, let us be good in line with the good behavior of our Lord Jesus Christ because the Bible says, everywhere He went, He was doing good.
