Your Obedience Attracts God’s Blessings And Love

THE SEED
“You bless those who obey you, LORD; your love protects them like a shield.” Psalms 5:12 GNBUK

The above scripture is the words of King David. A man who can be identified as someone who enjoyed the blessings and love of God. Although not perfect in all of his ways, David the shepherd boy was shielded by the love of God from the lion and bear that attacked his sheepfold in the wilderness, the love of God chose him as a king over Isreal at a tender age. The love of God was the shield around him when he faced Goliath in battle, the love of God protected him from the plots of King Saul to take his life, same love kept him from fighting for himself when Nabal insulted him. In his foolishness sent a message… to him and King David enjoyed an abundance of God’s blessing that was passed on to his generations. No other reason for all these than the life of obedience and worship he lived before God. Jesus said, if you love me you will keep my commandment and my Father and I will make our abode in you. Keeping God’s commandments means walking in obedience to God, when this is done, you shall never lack the blessings and love of God all the days of your life.

BIBLE READING: John 15:21-24

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, teach my heart to know obedience and walk therein before you all the days of my life. Amen
