Why Are You Afraid

THE SEED
“I, even l, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die, and of the son of a man who will be made like grass.” Isaiah 51:12

The spirit of fear should be resisted through our faith in God. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Power has been given unto you. Have faith in the word of God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Your faith will surely be built up as you keep reading and studying the word of God. In Isaiah 41:10, God says to the fearful one, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” What is it that is making you afraid? The Psalmist said in Psalm 56:3-4, “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?” Declare this unto yourself for the rest of your life as a child of God. Pray away fear and know that He that is Higher than the highest is with you.
