WALKING IN THE SPIRIT

THE SEED

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16

Our day is determined by one of two driving forces—our flesh or our spirit. God wants us to operate in the realm of the spirit—not in this natural world—because that’s how we live the life we have always dreamed of. That’s how we claim victory—by walking in the spirit. If we are feeling discouraged and defeated—there is a better quality of life available to us when we walk in the spirit, but it won’t happen overnight. It is a transformation from one degree of glory to another and one move of obedience to another. We should know when it is actually wrong to apply the strict letter of the law, know how to forgive, when justice would otherwise give the right to condemn, know how to make allowances, know when not to stand upon his or her rights, know how to temper justice with mercy and also remember that there are more important things in world than rules and regulations. This cannot be done by the natural man. It is done by people walking in the Spirit.
