THE SEED
“And immediately, Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore did thou doubt?” – Matthew 14:31
Faith cannot operate alongside fear or doubt. Just as water and gasoline cannot mix, human faith collapses when contaminated with worry or uncertainty. Peter walked on water in faith, but the moment he doubted, he began to sink.
Believers must guard their hearts and minds, keeping faith pure and active. Even in the face of delays, distress, or challenges, our words and thoughts must encourage faith, not feed fear. Divine faith acts as oil that empowers, and doubt or fear only neutralizes its effect. Stand boldly, speak courageously, and let faith dominate every situation.
BIBLE READINGS: Matthew 14:22–33 (KJV)
PRAYER: Lord, every trace of fear and doubt seeking to deactivate my faith, catch fire now in Jesus’ name. Amen.
