THE SEED
“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” 2 Tim 1:6
The scripture above is a reminder that every saved souls should discover their God given gift and do everything in their power to develop and use it for service to God. Fan into the flame of your gift, so that it burns intensely in your heart and you can’t help but exercising it all the time. Don’t let your fire die, keep it burning bright and remember why you were saved. But that’s not easy, we live in a world that tries to blow it out…when life becomes a rainstorm it’s hard to keep the fire burning. We get tired and we’d just as soon go to sleep. The good news is that we are overcomers by the blood of the lamb and our God is a consuming fire. His fire cannot inhabit our souls and not be evident…yes we can let the embers die…yes we can slip back into the world and become ashamed of the one that saved us…but if that is happening “wake up sleeper, rise from the dead and let Christ shine. *FAN THE FLAME BEFORE IT GOES OUT*
