God Gives Peace Not Like The World

THE SEED
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 NKJV

Immediately we surrender to the lordship of our Savior Jesus Christ, we experience peace all around us. There is this contentment we have in our hearts that can never be compared to riches, wealth, affluence, popularity, academic success and the like. John 16: 33 says, these things I have spoken unto you, that ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. The peace of God is the peculiar peace we enjoy even in times of trouble. Such peace come to us because of our assurance of having God with us to watch over us, give us direction to have a solution, guide our steps to meet with divine helpers and help us to fulfill our purpose on earth. Whether you are poor or rich, young or old, the word of God is yes and amen in the life of all believers.

PRAYER
Father grant me your peace now and beyond in Jesus’ Holy Name I ask. Amen.
