God Hates Sin, Not The Sinner

THE SEED
But God clearly shows and proves His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Romans. 5:8 AMP

Several people are living with the sad and untrue belief that God hates them because they sin. Although sin brings separation between God and man because the eyes of the Lord cannot behold sin, yet, that doesn’t mean God does not love the individual who sinned. Or, was it not his love for sinners that brought about the sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross? The opening text reads that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us, this indicates that God wouldn’t have sent His only begotten son to die for us if He hates us. God is more particular about our life that He has gone the extra mile to get us reconciled with him. Now, why did God hate sin and yet loved the sinner? This is because a sinner is a person created in the image of God. Sinners are persons God created for a purpose. They are the people God took out time to form in their mother’s wombs. Humanly speaking, no man would hate the work of his hands which was why God brought us to perfection and redemption after the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden at the inception of the Earth. However, if a man is washed clean of his sin with the Precious Blood of the Lamb then there are no more hindrances, such a person will experience the ultimate love of God which has been made available before the foundation of this world.
