THE SEED
“For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, ….” Psalms 1:6 NIV
watching over something shows that one values it and that one is ready to go the extra mile to make sure that whatever this great commitment is directed at is well looked after and does not witness any ruin. Also watching over something shows great interest and requires unwavering commitment. Beloved, It’s a great feeling to know and understand that The Almighty God watches over our way to keep us away from evil, to direct us away from the traps of the enemy, to uphold us to keep standing in His love and will, to direct out steps to meet with destiny helpers, to keep us in friendship with Him and to erase any ordinances of the evil one written against us in His will, the list of how God watches over us His own in this horrible world is endless. The Psalmist says “He never sleeps nor slumbers” this is a great commitment that must not be taken for granted or be ignorant of or get too familiar with to be seen as our entitlement. If God so much loves us to keep us under His divine watch, why are we not going to keep ourselves under His watch and enjoy His protection and guidance, why should we allow the world, the devil and sin to prevail over this great commitment?
BIBLE READING: Psalm 121:3-8
PRAYER: Father in heaven, thank you for your great commitment to watch over my path, Lord help me never to take this for granted in Jesus’ name. Amen
