GROW IN KNOWLEDGE

GROW IN KNOWLEDGE

THE SEED

“Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge.” — Isaiah 5:13a (KJV)

A lack of spiritual knowledge leads to unnecessary suffering. Many believers attend church regularly but do not pursue the knowledge of God personally. This was my experience growing up. I blamed God for my father’s death, not understanding that we had sought help outside of Him. Much later, I encountered Isaiah 42:8 and understood the truth: God will not share His glory with another. Our ignorance, not God’s neglect, was the issue. Knowledge of God sets us free from spiritual error. It helps us discern what is right, trust in His promises, and align with His ways. Those who know God through His Word are not easily shaken by challenges because they understand His faithfulness. The Bible is not just for reading—it is for living. To grow in knowledge is to grow in faith, strength, and divine direction.

Reflection: Ignorance brings bondage, but knowledge of God brings liberty.

BIBLE READING: Hosea 4:6–10

PRAYER: Lord, open the eyes of my understanding. Fill me with the knowledge of Your truth and guide my steps daily. Amen.
