How Do We Seek God?

THE SEED
Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD. 1 Chronicles 22:19

When we seek God with all of our hearts, we will find Him. We may rely on that scriptural guarantee. How, therefore, should we go about looking for Him? We must first adopt certain attitudes. The Bible exhorts us to pursue with all of our hearts, effort, perseverance, assurance, and humility. These characteristics are necessary for learning and spiritual development. Then we begin studying and reflecting on God’s Word with an open heart. Because prayer is the main method by which we and He connect with one another, we also adopt this discipline. The second stage is to think about how God is working in our situation. You can see hints of how He worked, even through difficult moments in your life, if you reflect on His prior acts of loyalty to you. Even more so, you might be able to discern how He works in the lives of other Christians, which will only further your development. We discover the ability to love and serve God when we seek Him. Consider pursuing the Father in one of the aforementioned methods if you’ve been feeling apathetic toward Him, and then pray that it inspires your desire.

PRAYER
Oh Lord, give us the power to pray fervently and without ceasing, Amen.
