THE SEED
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. Hebrews 13:8-9
Jesus Christ is God and He is immovable, He never changes. Our Lord, Savior and Redeemer has always been the same. Jesus has not changed either, since He came to be our incarnated Savior and will remain the same for all eternity. Everything about Jesus including His love, power, truth and grace never changes and has always been the same for all believers throughout the ages. We are saved by grace, not by works. We need to be careful and not accept any doctrine that says anything different and tries to add something “new” to the truth of the Bible. Being born-again not only resulted in good works, but in our love of the Lord and our desire to please Him. Any teachings which say that in order to be saved we need to add to our faith in Jesus certain restrictions of food or anything else than what the Bible teaches, are not the truth and we have to reject them. We should strengthen our hearts in the faith and hope of the Gospel of grace, not by food restrictions that bring no spiritual advantage to those who obey such restrictions. The good we do comes from our love of the Lord.

PRAYER: Please help me to understand the truth of Your Word as it is the perfect standard for my faith and to not accept anything different from it. Jesu Kristi ni Ọlọrun, ati pe Oun ko ṣe e yipada, kò sí lè e yipada. Oluwa wa, Olugbala ati Olurapada ti jẹ ọkanna nigbagbogbo. Jésù náà kò tíì yí padà, níwọ̀n ìgbà tí ó ti wá jẹ́ Olùgbàlà wa tí a fi ẹ̀dá ènìyàn ṣe, yió sì dúró bákan náà fún gbogbo ayérayé. Ohun gbogbo nipa Jesu pẹlu ifẹ, agbara, otitọ ati oore-ọfẹ ko yipada ati nigbagbogbo o jẹ ọkanna fun gbogbo awọn onigbagbọ ni gbogbo awọn ọjọ lati láì láì. A da wa sí nipasẹ oore-ọfẹ, kii ṣe nipasẹ awọn iṣẹ. A nilo lati ṣọra ki a ma gba ẹkọ eyikeyi ti o sọ ohunkohun ti o yatọ ti o gbiyanju lati ṣe afikun ohun “tuntun” si otitọ ti Bibeli. Jíjẹ atunbi ko yọrisi awọn iṣẹ rere nikan, ṣugbọn ninu ifẹ wa fun Oluwa ati ifẹ wa lati wun un. Ẹ̀kọ́ èyíkéyìí tó sọ pé ki á bàa lè rí ìgbàlà, a ní láti sẹ ara fún irú àwọn oúnjẹ kan tàbí kí a fi ohun kan kún ìgbàgbọ́ wa nínú Jésù ju ohun tí Bíbélì fi kọ́ni, awọn wọnyi kì í sì í ṣe òtítọ́, a sì gbọ́dọ̀ kọ̀ wọ́n. A gbọ́dọ̀ fún ọkàn wa lókun nínú ìgbàgbọ́ àti ìrètí ti oore-ọ̀fẹ́ ìhìn rere. Kì í ṣe nípa sisẹ ará kúrò nínú oúnjẹ tí kò mú àǹfààní t’ẹ̀mí wá fún àwọn tí ń ṣègbọràn sí irú àwọn isẹ ra ẹni bẹ́ẹ̀. Ohun rere ti a nṣe, wá lati inu ìfẹ Oluwa.
