JOY IN THE MIDST OF TEMPTATION

JOY IN THE MIDST OF TEMPTATION

THE SEED

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.” — James 1:2 (KJV)

Temptation is not a sign of spiritual weakness but a reality of walking with God. Even Jesus faced temptation in the wilderness. The enemy often strikes hardest when a believer decides to follow Christ wholeheartedly. But God promises that no temptation will be beyond what we can bear, and that He will make a way of escape. Temptations are tests that prove and strengthen our faith. Just like a student sitting for an exam, we must apply what we have learned from God’s Word to overcome. Trials are not meant to destroy us but to refine us and usher us into greater testimonies. Stand firm, clothed in the full armour of God. Your victory in temptation is proof of God’s power at work in you.

Reflection: Temptation is a test you can overcome through faith in God.

BIBLE READING: Matthew 4:1–11

PRAYER: Lord, help me to stand firm and trust You through every temptation. Strengthen me to overcome by Your Spirit. Amen.
