THE SEED
…looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb. 12:1-2 NKJV
Thanks be to God for the truly wonderful Ministers of God we have in Christendom, that have and remain an example for us all with their faith, obedience and love for God. Hallelujah to God for the Saints of old and the ones we read of in the Bible. However we must keep in mind that in this race of life, the one person we are truly looking up to is Jesus Christ Himself. He alone is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Failure to comprehend this is the reason why many believers in the past and in the years to come, allow unscrupulous leaders lead them into error and sin. Man is imperfect and fallible, but Jesus is not. Take examples around you, but keep your eyes on Jesus.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help me to keep my eyes fixed on you, in Jesus name Amen.
