No Room For Laziness

THE SEED
“But Jesus answered them, my Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” John 5:17

Jesu said in John 14:9, that he that hath seen him hath seen the father, meaning he is like the Father. This gives an insight that he is just like the Father. By implication, both the Father and the son work. From the beginning, God put man in the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it, (Gen.2:15) which is the work that God gave to man. Also, in the midst of the unexplainable abundance that eyes cannot even see all, no knowledge, wisdom and understanding of man, can fully capture the abundance around God, He still works. The earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof, a thousand bulls on the hills are His, all silver and gold are His. Man is yet to understand even a pinch of the earth, let alone the whole planets that have no end. If we consider the heavens and the works of His fingers; the moon and the stars which God ordained, yet God works. So, as man made in the image and likeness of God, we have no reason not to work. LESSON: The Bible says, anyone who would not work, should not eat and that whatsoever our hands find to do, we should do it, for in every labour, there is profit.
