THE SEED
“And the Lord said to Abram after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.” Genesis 13:14
After Lot had separated himself and chose the good and fertile land to the ‘East’. God gave Abraham all he could see, North, South, East and West. Isn’t it surprising that what God gave Abraham included the area Lot thought he chose for himself? Isn’t that a funny thing to know? The lesson is that nobody can possess what belongs to you from God, nobody. In prayers and intercession, many Christians focus a lot on ‘enemies’ who are seeking to stop them in life. And we do have a chief enemy; the devil (Jn. 10: 10). he does make use of agents; human or otherwise to seek to sow destruction in our lives. But in the final judgment for Christians and unbelievers, we will all stand before God by ourselves. Not even the devil will be blamed for the errors of our lives. The person God will question about the success or failure of our lives is us (Rev. 20: 12). What does that mean to us? It means that if God holds nobody but us responsible for the success or failure of our lives, the only person that can prevent us from getting what is ours is us, not witches, not wizards, not even the devil himself. So take responsibility for your life today; nobody can take what is yours from God.
