NOT YOU BUT GOD
THE SEED
Then the King made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and Chief of the Governors over all the wise men of Babylon. Daniel 2: 48(KJV)
It was a double honour for Daniel for a job well-done to have revealed the exact dream the King had despite not being told by any man and interpreted it. It can only be God. He is God over the whole world, He is holy, good, kind, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He is in control of the affairs of the world and He gives whatever He wants to give out to those He chooses. Daniel was a partaker of this great opportunity because of his love, service and reliance on the power of God, he believed he cannot do it by himself but God can, he achieved all his successes through the power of God and continually giving thanks to God Almighty. Are you there to appreciate all what God has given you or you are boasting it was your strength and hard work? Do you boast about your position, status, achievement and your successes? Not at all, it can never be you but God the giver of all things. He does what no man can do and gives what no man can give. Man owe God a lot , He’s the only one that raises the poor out of the dust, lift up the beggar from the dunghill, set them among princes, to make them inherit the throne of Glory, for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s and He has set the world upon them.
