THE SEED
“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” 1 Peter 1:18-19
As a Christian why are you acting and playing cheap? Why do you still place the cost of peanuts over your life after you have been bought with an inestimable price of the precious blood of Jesus? Why do you parade yourself in club houses to get drunk, being enveloped in flirting activities and using dubious ways to enrich your pocket all in the name of enjoyment and keeping up with friends? Once, the whole generation of man was sold out as peanuts, so cheap that it took only a few convincing lies from satan to make mother Eve disobedient to God’s instruction and for father Adam to fall for the persuasive and enticing words of his wife to become infected with the first evil pandemic called sin. Sin became contagious through their blood and infected everyone that is born of man. But glory be to God the Father, who in His infinite mercy sent us His only begotten son, Jesus Christ; to shed his precious blood in order to cleanse, purify and deliver us from eternal death. Brethren, after receiving this priceless gift of new life, is it wise to still go out of grace to be sold cheaply to Satan again? This will be the most unacceptable act towards God and our Lord Jesus.
