ONE MIND: A SURE WAY TO ACCEPTABLE WORSHIP
THE SEED
“Now the God of patience and consolation grants you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God even the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6
As believers, we are encouraged to live in peace and harmony among ourselves. This is because unity yields fruitfulness, advancement, and bountiful harvest. On the other hand, disunity produces destruction, set-back and sadness. God pours out his blessings where there is unity. Psalm 133:1.
Citing family setting as an example, no caring parent will sit around while the children are embroiled in quarrelling or fighting. Most times, the focus won’t be about who is right or wrong, but just for the friction to end between them. Likewise is our heavenly father, who values and wants unity among all men, especially His children.
We must value unity to enjoy God’s presence in our lives.
