OUR EVER-PRESENT HELP

OUR EVER-PRESENT HELP

THE SEED
“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14 (NKJV)

God is our ever-present help in times of trouble. In Exodus 14:14, God, through Moses, reassured the Israelites that He would fight for them while they left Egypt. That same assurance is ours today as His true children; God will never forsake us. Life comes with its share of troubles, but Jesus promised, “My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Though burdens exist, those who are in Christ can carry them with His help. He strengthens us and fights our battles when we call on Him. Job is an example of enduring hardship with faith. Though he lost everything, God restored him because he remained faithful. Likewise, when Peter walked on water and began to sink, it was his lack of faith; not the storm ; that caused him to falter. No matter what we face, let us hold on to faith and trust in God’s ability to help. He is always present and ready to step in.

BIBLE READING: Psalm 46:1–11
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You are my help in times of trouble. I trust You. Please ease my burden and lighten my yoke, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
