“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; ….” Psalms 37:7aNIV

King David, a man of great and diverse experience, says in Psalm 37 above that we have to be still before God and wait patiently to attain a victorious end. He walked with God all the
days of his life in patience, and we can’t take light his words of experience. He exhibited great patience in waiting for God to make things happen in his life in God’s time. He was anointed a King over Israel to take over the throne from King Saul, but he patiently waited years for God’s appropriate time. David was a famous and great warrior and loved by people, but he didn’t allow himself to get carried away with this but continued to wait patiently on God. When king Saul sorted to kill him, instead of using his influence to overthrow him, he preferred to become a fugitive in the wilderness and neighbouring countries, waiting on God for victory, and not allow the heat of the moment to deprive him of God’s given victory through impatience.
Brethren, we need to walk with God in enduring patience to attain God’s given victory
over our situations.

PRAYER

Lord, I ask for the patient to walk with You to be able to wait to receive Your given victory over my challenges in Jesus’ name. Amen
